Glass Balustrades – Elegance and Safety Combined
Glass balustrades are the ideal solution for those who want a modern, elegant and safe design. Oglinda Venetiana specialises in manufacturing and installing glass balustrades for interior staircases, balconies, terraces, mezzanines and pool surrounds.
We use exclusively thermally toughened (tempered) glass in thicknesses of 8 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm, certified to European standard EN 12150. Tempered glass is up to five times stronger than standard glass and, if it should ever break, shatters into small, blunt fragments — eliminating the risk of serious injury.
Our fixing systems are manufactured from AISI 304/316 stainless steel or anodised aluminium, offering excellent durability and corrosion resistance. Handrail options in stainless steel or hardwood are available, and profiles can be floor-mounted or wall-fixed to suit any project.
Our experienced installation team ensures a professional finish, fully compliant with current safety standards. From free site survey to 3D design visualisation and final installation, we guide you through every step.

8–10 mm glass with aluminium channel base or stainless point fixings. Minimalist design that maximises natural light on the staircase.

10–12 mm glass rated for outdoor use. AISI 316 stainless steel fixings for maximum durability in all weather conditions.
